Adventures & Recreation

The lodge offers access to over 350 miles of hiking and biking trails directly from the property. The onsite rental center provides Polaris UTVs, snowmobiles, and bikes for guests to explore Spearfish Canyon. Two outdoor hot tubs on the second-floor deck operate year-round with canyon views.

Dining

The Latchstring Restaurant across the road serves homemade dishes such as Walleye and Trout Almondine. The Roughlock Lounge in the lodge offers seasonal cocktails, pizza, and cheese and meat boards. Guests can order a sack lunch for UTV or hiking day trips.

Rooms & Suites

The hotel has 40 rooms and suites, including the Black Elk Suite, Calamity Jane Suite, and Roosevelt suite. Select cabins like the Berry Patch Cabin come with fully-equipped kitchens. Some rooms include jetted tubs or gas fireplaces.
