Unique Setting & Main Attraction

Big Cypress Lodge is a rustic-luxury hotel suspended among cypress trees inside the Memphis Pyramid. The lodge sits inside a 535,000-square-foot Bass Pro Shops that includes an indoor cypress swamp ecosystem with live alligators and giant sturgeon. Guests ride the country's tallest freestanding elevator to an observation deck with views of downtown Memphis and the Mississippi River.

Rooms & Accommodations

The 103 pet-friendly guest rooms are designed with rustic elements inspired by treehouses and hunting cabins. Many rooms offer balconies overlooking the indoor swamp or the Bass Pro Shops retail floor. Each room includes a private bathroom with a bathtub, air conditioning, a seating area, and a flat-screen TV.

Dining & Entertainment

On-site dining includes Wahlburgers Wild and The Lookout, a restaurant atop the observation deck. The Den offers a breakfast buffet, and the third-floor bar serves drinks and small plates. Entertainment includes a 13-lane underwater-themed bowling alley, archery, billiards, and board games.
